A series of NdFe12−xyTixNby (0.6≤ x+y ≤ 1.1) alloys was prepared by arc melting followed by annealing at temperatures 950C, 1050C and 1150C and water quenching. X-ray diffraction and magnetization measurements showed crystalline phases of ThMn12 (1:12), Th2Zn17 (2:17) and Nd3(Fe,Ti)29 (3:29) structure types, as well as bcc–Fe and Fe2(Ti,Nb) crystalline phases. The volume fraction of the intermetallic compounds rises with the increasing of the anneaeling temperature. The 1:12 structure type is formed in alloys with pNb=y/(x+y)≤ 0.3; as the Nb participation in the stabilizing agent increases (0.3 < pNb≤ 0.5), the 3:29 structure type is the dominant one, while for higher participations (pNb > 0.5) the 2:17 structure type is observed.
