In coronal holes where the densities are lower than in equatorial streamers, the mean free path of solar wind particles is larger and consequently, the position of the exobase in solar wind kinetic models is located lower in the corona. At these radial distances, the attractive gravitational force acting on the protons becomes larger than the repulsive electrostatic force and the protons are located in an attractive potential from this exobase until a radial distance rmax. We have recently generalized the solar wind kinetic models in order to account for such a potential for the protons and have shown that the large bulk velocities observed in the high speed solar wind (originating from the coronal holes) can be reproduced. In this poster, we show how the bulk speed at large distance depends on several physical quantities like the temperatures at the exobase, the temperature anisotropies, the amount of trapped electrons and a non-Maxwellian distribution for the protons. Distribution of temperatures and heat fluxes obtained at large distances will also be discussed and compared with observations.
