Search for scalar quarks in e+e interactions — •Serge Sushkov and Thomas Hebbeker — Humboldt University, Berlin / III. Phys. Inst. A, RWTH Aachen

Final results of the search for scalar quarks in e+e interactions using the L3 experiment at the LEP Collider at CERN are presented. Data collected at center-of-mass energies from 202 up to 208 GeV are analysed. The squark production processes e+e→ t_1 t_1 and e+e→ b_1 b_1, followed by the decays t_1→ c χ10, t_1→ b l ν, t_1→ b τ ν, b_1→ b χ10 and t_1→ b W χ^0_1 are considered. No signal is observed and model-independent upper limits on the squark production cross sections are derived and interpreted as mass exclusion limits within the framework of the MSSM with conserved R-parity.
