Studies of 4-jet event shape observables with OPAL and JADE — •Stefan Kluth, Mona Blumenstengel, Pedro Movilla Fernandez, Christoph Pahl, and Jochen Schieck — Max-Planck-Institut für Physik, Föhringer Ring 6, 80805 München
Hadronic final states in e+e− annihilation are studied with event shape observables which are sensitive to configurations with at least four hard partons. We use data from the experiments JADE and OPAL ranging from √s=14 to 202 GeV and compare the data to predictions from Monte Carlo generators as well as from perturbative QCD.
