Dynamical density-matrix renormalization-group method forcalculating spectral functions of impurity models. — •Satoshi Nishimoto, Eric Jeckelmann, and Florian Gebhard — Philipps-Universität, FB Physik, 35032 Marburg

We present a new numerical method for calculating zero-temperature dynamical correlation functions in impurity models. The method is based on the dynamical density-matrix renormalization group[1]. It allows one to calculate spectral functions for all frequencies with great accuracy and good resolution. The approach is demonstrated on the single-impurity Anderson model. It can be readily extended to different models with several impurities or to the calculation of other dynamical properties.
