Sufrace Impedance of Low Dimensional Superconductors — •Jürgen Thoms and Martin Dressel — 1. Physikalisches Institut, Universität Stuttgart, Pfaffenwaldring 57, D-70550 Stuttgart

The temperature dependent complex surface impedance ZS of low dimensional superconductors was measured with a cavity perturbation technique at 35 GHz in a 3He-cryostat. For temperatures well below the transition temperature TC the imaginary part of the surface impedance, the surface reactance XS, is proportional to the penetration depth λ. Therefore it can be directly compared with various models of the superconducting state. Furthermore, the complex conductivity can be evaluated.

Both Sr2RuO4 and (TMTSF)2ClO4 are prime candidates for triplet superconductivity. Measurements in the normal and superconducting state on these materials and on κ−(ET)2I3, κ−(ET)2Cu[N(CN)2]Br are presented and compared with different models.
