Perpendicular transport properties of YBa2Cu3O7−y/ PrBa2 Cu2.9Ga0.1O7−y multilayers — •Hernan Rodriguez and Hermann Adrian — Institut für Physik, Johannes Gutenberg Universität, 55099 Mainz

We investigate the electric transport properties perpendicular to the CO2 planes of high quality (YBa2Cu3O7−y)n/(PrBa2Cu2.9Ga0.1O7−y) m heterostructures deposited by high pressure DC sputtering. The samples were patterned with the standard photolitography method into a square junctions of 16× 16µ m2 and 20× 20µ m2. At low temperature the conductance-voltage characteritic exhibits a gap feature of 45mV for the (n=4:m=16) superlattice, this sample has nine junctions. At high dc bias voltage the di/dvv curve becomes tiny structures which could be related to the periodicity, results for other superlattices and trilayers are discussed.
