For the Time Reversal Invariance Experiment at COSY (TRIC) in Jülich the polarization correlation A_y,xz is to be measured to an accuracy of 10⁻⁷ . This requires the development of a real time operating system. Windows XP was chosen due to its robustness, flexibility with respect to hardware components and proven productivity. The implementation of a real-time kernel and interrupt handling will be discussed.
