The static electric-quadrupole moment, which directly determines the intrinsic shape of the nucleus, can be measured by Coulomb excitation at energies well below the Coulomb barrier. While the sign of the electric-quadrupole moment determines the prolate or oblate shape of the nucleus, the absolute value gives the size of the deformation and can also indicate a possible mixing between states of different deformation. The neutron deficient Kr isotopes are predicted to be one of the best candidates to investigate the development of shape coexistence. A Coulomb excitation campaign was started with the stable 78Kr isotope measured in Jyväskylä, Finland. Recently, the campaign was continued at GANIL, France. The EXOGAM/SPIRAL device was used to investigate the radioactive ion beams 76Kr and 74Kr. The latest results will be presented.
