We describe an experiment of cooling and trapping Rb-atoms using a low velocity source of Rb-atoms. Atoms are precooled in a 2D-MOT at relatively high Rb-pressure and then transferred into a UHV chamber where they are first captured in a conventional MOT and then loaded into a high power CO2 laser trap. We have optimized the loading time of MOT in UHV chamber to be fast(1sec.) and efficient (2.5 · 108 atoms/sec).In order to realize a tight focus for the dipole trap we use a short focal length lens which is located together with miniature coils inside the UHV chamber. This new setup allows us to load Rb atoms into a deeper potentialand thus obtain a high density dipole trap at a temperture of a few µ K.
