Multiple scattering in heavy quark production at HERA — •Lluís Martí — Deutsches Elektronen-Synchroton, DESY, Hamburg

Multiple Interactions play an important role in pp scattering and in jet - photoproduction at HERA, which offers the possibilty for detailed studies.

In charm photoproduction multiple interactions can also play a important role. The transverse momentum distributions and the energy flow away from the charm jets are studied using Monte Carlo simulations.

Multiple interaction in charm events are compared to similar signatures in jet events without heavy quark tags.
