The Atlas Pixel Detector will utilize an optical link to transmit Timing, Triggering and controlling signals (TTC) to the on-detector electronics and as well transmit event data back to the off-detector electronics in the control room for analysis. On the part of the on-detector electronics is a beryllium fabricated opto-board composed of opto-packages and Asics. The opto-board channels for TTC receive a Bi phase encoded signal via a PiN-diode and the Digital Opto-Receiver Chip (DORIC) connected decodes the signal into 40 MHz Clock and command signals. The channels dedicated for event data transmission receive signals from the modules and via a Chip that drives a forward current (VDC) of ~10mA per channel to a Vertical cavity emitting laser-array (VCSEL). 300 opto-boards (including spares) are needed for the detector. The functionalities of the opto-board must pass certain defined quality assurance tests after production. At Wuppertal post production tests are being done for one third of the boards. In this talk i will present the results of these tests. They include Burn-in at 50C , thermal cycling between -25C and 50C a full characterization of the optical and electrical signals against detector specifications at the nominal temperature of 10C. An optimally automatized testing system was achieved by developing support boards and software for control, monitoring, analyzing and management of the test-data.
