Extracting Δ Γ in the Bs system from angular distributions of the BsJ/ψ   φ decay with the CMS detector — •Lotte Wilke — Physik Institut der Universität Zürich

The decay BsJ/ψ   φ → µ+ µ K+ K is a gold-plated transition which allows to measure most parameters of the Bs system.
The time dependence of angular distributions gives a powerful tool to extract the lifetime difference between the light and heavy mass eigenstate of the Bs as well as other parameters in this system. The prospects for the measurement of these parameters using a maximum likelihood fit will be presented.
