We experimentally investigated quantum echos at exceptional points (EPs) with microwave billiards. First, two EPs were localized in the measured resonance spectrum. Then, the decay of these resonances with time was studied. The t2-dependance predicted on the basis of a 2×2-matrix model for the two states degenerating at the EP could be verified, while for subcritical couplings of the two resonance states deviations from the theoretical model were found.
