We have investigated single and multiple ionization of Ar using 3.6AMeV Cr7+ and Cr20+ beams from the UNILAC. The perturbation strength characterized by the Sommerfeld parameter q/v varied between 0.6 and 1.7. Electrons and recoil ions emitted in the collision were momentum analyzed using a reaction microscope. We present differential cross sections as a function of electron and recoil longitudinal momentum for a number of electron multiplicities. We compare data with cross sections [1] derived for Ar ionized with strong perturbations q/v=4.4.
