In the framework of the NA49 energy scan program, strange hadron production has been measured in central Pb+Pb collisions at energies between 20A and 158A GeV. One of the most striking observations is the pronounced maximum in the ratio of the strangeness to pion yield at low SPS energies. In order to cross-check these results and to complete the analysis of strange particles, the Ks0 production in central Pb+Pb collisions is studied.

This analysis is based on data measured with the NA49 large acceptance hadron spectrometer. Ks0 are identified via decay topology and invariant mass determination.

Preliminary transverse mass and rapidity spectra as well as the total yields will be presented for several SPS energies and a comparison to the corresponding results for charged kaons will be shown.
