Multiple interactions in photoproduction at HERA — •Lluis Marti Magro — DESY

Multiple interactions play an important role in pp scattering and in jet - photoproduction at HERA, where the electron scatters under a small angle. Multiple interactions in events with heavy quarks, which are selected via a muon tag, are also investigated. Distributions of particle multiplicity and energy flow away from the jet axis are measured and compared to Monte Carlo simulations. Dijet events are compared to events with an additional charm tag. Differences in the particle multiplicity and energy flow distributions are observed.
