Dispersion renormalization in quasi-1d interacting electron systems — •Jutta Ortloff and Carsten Honerkamp — Theoretische Physik Universität Würzburg

We investigate the interaction-induced change of the dispersion in coupled onedimensional chains of interacting fermions. We use a functional renormalization group method with flat cutoff and high wavevector-resolution beyond the standard g-ology treatment. In general, the flow of the Fermi points is rather mild and does not change the main characteristics of the flows to strong coupling. We furthermore analyze how the renormalization of the dispersion correlates with the dominant interaction channel.
