Spin fluctuation mediated Cooper-pairing in non-centrosymmetric CePt3Si — •Ludwig Klam1 and Dirk Manske21Institut für Theoretische Physik, Wolfgang-Pauli-Str. 27, CH-8093 Zürich — 2Max-Planck-Institut für Festkörperforschung, Heisenbergstr. 1, D-70569 Stuttgart

Non-centrosymmetric superconductors, and in particular CePt3Si, attract special interest, since the antisymmetric spin-orbit coupling provides the unique opportunity to consider a microscopic mixture of a spin singlet and triplet superconducting order parameter. An efficient numerical method is introduced in order to calculate the dynamical spin and charge response of CePt3Si, using an itinerant description for the electrons. With a realistic parametrization of the band structure, the nesting function is calculated for a selected band in the normal non-magnetic state. From the spin and charge susceptibility, a superconducting pairing interaction is constructed for the weak-coupling gap equation. A sign analysis of the decoupled gap equation supports the experimental evidence of a strong triplet contribution to the order parameter in CePt3Si. In particular for this compound, it can be shown that an increasing Rashba-type of spin-orbit coupling strengthens the triplet contribution.
