CRESST is an experiment (located at the LNGS in Italy) for the direct detection of dark matter (WIMPs) via measurements of nuclear recoils and the accompanying light output in CaWO4 crystals. Crucial for the discrimination between background and a possible signal is an exact knowledge of the Quenching Factors (QF) of the light. To measure the QFs at the operating temperature of CRESST (∼ 10 mK), a neutron scattering facility has been set up at the Maier-Leibnitz-Laboratorium in Garching. Since 2007 a dedicated cryostat has been installed and the complete data-acquisition hardware and software has been updated. Presently the experiment using time-of-flight measurements at a fixed scattering angle is fully operational. First results will be shown. Further upgrades such as an improved light detector using the Neganov-Luke amplification technique are ongoing.
