The ATLAS Grid Computing resources in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Switzerland consist of a cloud of 12 Tier-2 computing centers grouped around the Tier-1 center GridKa at the Steinbuch Centre for Computing at KIT. While the Tier-1 center serves as a hub for data management in the cloud and is the principal resource for reprocessing and custodial storage of raw ATLAS data, the Tier-2 centers provide the resources for user analysis and production of simulated events.

During the first full year of data taking at the LHC, the GridKa cloud has successfully contributed to the overall ATLAS computing effort, enabling physicists to quickly analyze the large volume of new incoming data and the corresponding simulated events.

This talk covers the computing operations in the GridKa cloud with focus on performance and experiences at both the Tier-1 and Tier-2 centers.
