Recent MAGIC results on galactic sources — •Julian Krause — Max-Planck-Institut fuer Physik, Muenchen, Germany

MAGIC consists of two 17m diameter imaging air Cherenkov telescopes located on the Canary island La Palma, Spain. MAGIC observes the Gamma-ray sky above 50 GeV. Since 2009 both Telescopes are operated in stereo mode. The stereo mode improved the angular resolution and the background supression resulting in an increase of sensitivity by a factor of two. This allows us both faster and deeper investigations on the underlying physiscs in sources of very high energy gamma-rays. This improvement enables deeper studies of the high energetic processes creating the gamma-rays as well as discovering fainter gamma-ray sources. In addition more detailed gamma-ray spectra can provide crucial insight in the interaction processes of VHE gamma-rays and their ambient medium. This talk will summarize the recent highlights of MAGIC concerning galactic sources in particular supernova remnants, Pulsar-wind-nebulae and binary systems.
