A Method to Correct TimeWalk of the TimeStamp information of MVD Detector in the PANDA Experiment — •Simone Esch, Tobias Stockmanns, and James Ritman — IKP, Forschungszentrum Jülich

The PANDA detector is one of the main experiments at the upcoming Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research in Darmstadt (FAIR). The fixed target experiment will explore pp annihilation with intense, phase space cooled beams with momenta between 1.5 and 15 GeV/c. The experiment follows a trigger less readout concept. Every subdetector collects and preprocesses the signals autonomously. Physically relevant hits will be stored and marked with a precise TimeStamp. The trigger selection follows in a later step in the compute node. This leads to a very flexible and powerful trigger principle. The TimeStamp for the silicon pixel/strip MVD (Micro Vertex Detector) has been implemented in the pandaroot simulations framework in order to investigate the time resolution. The TimeStamp is effected by the TimeWalk which depends on the deposited charge in the pixel/strip. The deposited charge will be reconstructed by the time over threshold (ToT) readout concept of the sensors. This talk will present the implementation of the TimeWalk, as well as the method used to correct and analyze the data in order to obtain a more precise timing of the reconstructed hits.
