In recent years we have investigated and characterized many new and interesting 1D quantum spin systems, as of late we have concentrated on compounds that crystallize in the CrVO4 structure-type.
Here we will present new results for materials that adopt this structure-type, ranging from spin-spiral long-range magnetic order and Multiferroicity to two stage spin-Peierls transitions.
