We present a study of the hidden order transition in URu2Si2 by means of high-resolution angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES). In particular, we find a strong excitation energy dependence of a flat quasi particle band that is associated with and strongly affected by the hidden order transition[1,2]. We compare our ARPES data to density functional theory (DFT) calculations in the local density approximation (LDA)+U to simulate various degrees of 5f localization.
