Hard pions in chiral perturbation theoryJohan Bijnens1 and •Ilaria Jemos21Lund university, Lund, Sweden — 2University of Vienna, Vienna, Austria

We discuss the use of Chiral Pertubation Theory (ChPT) to calculate chiral logarithms out of the usual range of validity of the theory, i.e. in the limit where hard pions arise. We also present results for semileptonic B and D decays and for charmonium decays to two pseudoscalar mesons. These results are then compared with data. We expect such corrections to be useful to perform chiral extrapolations of lattice data points to the physical pion mass.
