Measurement of multijet cross sections in deep inelastic scattering at HERA — •Inna Makarenko — Notkestrasse 85, DESY, Hamburg, Germany
Jet measurements in lepton-proton collisions at HERA provide a solid ground for testing perturbative QCD. Single- and double-differential inclusive multijet cross sections in neutral current deep inelastic ep scattering have been measured with the ZEUS detector at HERA using an integrated luminosity of 300 pb−1. The measurement was performed at large values of the photon virtuality, Q2, between 125 and 20 000 GeV2 for the jets reconstructed with the kT cluster algorithm in the Breit reference frame with ET,Bjet > 8 GeV and invariant mass of the two leading jets greater than 20 GeV. The obtained cross sections are compared to next-to-leading order predictions.
