Status of the Data Analysis of Tunka-Rex — •Dmitriy Kostunin — Institut für Kernphysik, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT)

Tunka-Rex is the radio extension of the air-Cherenkov detector array placed in the Tunka valley, Siberia. The radio array consists of 20 antennas plugged to Tunka-133 Cherenkov detector electronics. The events triggered by the Tunka-133 detector with primary energy higher than approximately 1017 eV are expected to have detectable radio signal. With the trigger from Tunka-133 it is possible to cross-compare the reconstructed shower parameters from the air-Cherenkov and the radio detector. The main goal of Tunka-Rex is to determine the precision of the reconstruction of the primary energy and the depth of shower maximum using the radio detection technique by cross-calibrating it to the Cherenkov detector. We present the current status of the Tunka-Rex data analysis. First candidate events are shown and compared to predictions from CoREAS and REAS simulations.
