In order to discover the sources of ultra high energy cosmic rays (UHECR's), Extreme Universe Space Observatory on-board Japan Experiment Module (JEM-EUSO) will observe fluorescence and Cherenkov light from extensive air showers (EASs) induced by UHECRs from the International Space Station with a huge acceptance from ~2017. As an important step to realize JEM-EUSO, a prototype telescope, TA-EUSO, will be deployed in early 2013 at the Telescope Array Experiment (TA) site in Utah, U.S.A. to observe ultra-violet light from EASs, LIDAR and the electron light source (ELS). The TA-EUSO telescope consists of two Fresnel lenses of 1m x 1m size each and a Photo-Detector Module (PDM) with 2304 channels at the focal surface which will be used for JEM-EUSO as well. The plan and the present status of the TA-EUSO experiment will be reported.
