The low-temperature B-T- phase diagram of the layered organic superconductor κ-(ET)2 SF5CH2CF2SO3, where ET is bisethylenedithio-tetrathiafulvalene, has been studied. The highly precise specific heat measurements show strong variation of the superconducting transition with the orientation of the applied magnetic field. For field directions parallel to the superconducting planes the upper critical field is Pauli-limited exceeding the Chandrasekhar-Clogston limit at low temperatures. The superconducting transition is studied theoretically using realistic Fermi surfaces. Our results suggest that the phase, which separates the homogeneous superconducting state from the normal state is a realization of a Fulde-Ferrell-Larkin-Ovchinnikov state.
