Impact of PC[60]BM on the Photo-Degradation of PCPDTBTUlf Dettinger1, Hans Joachim Egelhaaf2, •Andreas Früh1, Heiko Peisert1, and Thomas Chassé11Eberhard-Karls-University, Institute for Physical and Theoretical Chemistry, Auf der Morgenstelle 18, D-72076 Tübingen, Germany — 2ZAE Bayern, Haberstrasse 2a, 91058 Erlangen, Germany

Organic photovoltaics (OPV) offers a promising solution for the energy demand in combination with challenging design requirements, although the stability of the device materials remains yet an important factor. UV-Vis and FTIR spectroscopy was used to study the photo-oxidation of the Low-Band-Gap Polymer PCPDTBT as pristine film and blended with PC[60]BM. The films were degraded under irradiation of standard Air Mass 1.5 conditions under O2 environment. It has been shown that the different monomer units of the polymer backbone are differently affected by the degradation. The unique kinetics of the accelerated degradation of PCPDTBT in the blend is studied in detail.[1] Reference: [1]*U. Dettinger et al. Chem. Mater. 2015, 27, S. 2299-2308
