Measurements of differential top-quark-pair (tt) production cross sections are performed using final states with two leptons (e+e−, µ+µ−, and e±µ∓) in proton-proton collisions at √s = 13 TeV at the CERN LHC. The data were recorded with the CMS detector. The tt production cross section is measured as a function of kinematic properties of the top quarks and the tt system, as well as of the top quark decay products. The measurements are confronted with several modern Monte Carlo predictions, and are also compared with different perturbative QCD calculations of beyond-NLO accuracy.
