The magnetic properties of centered spin-rings with J1-J2-Heisenberg-interaction are determined by exact diagonalization. We characterize the ground state as well as excited states by their respective quantum numbers and investigate the dependence of the latter on the ratio J1/J2. General rules are suggested if possible.
