Heat transport is known as a diffusive process that is characterized as a slow process compared to other physical processes. Nevertheless, heat transport can also occur ballistically in the speed of sound within a material over distances comparable to the phonon’s mean free path, known as Casimir limit [1]. Therefore, thin-layer materials are of interest for detecting ballistic heat transport [2]. As a model system with large potential of application, e.g. in power electronics, we are investigating exfoliated thin-layer flakes of β-Ga2O3 single crystal [3][4]. As a wide-band gap semiconductor with a high-breakthrough field, β-Ga2O3 has shown to be a promising material for applications in high power electronics [5]. In this work, we fabricate and pattern micro-heater lines in order to employ the 3ω- and 2ω- methods [3].
