Partial-Wave Analysis of B0 → J/ψ K+ π− at Belle (II) — •Martin Bartl, Hans-Günther Moser, and Stefan Wallner — Max-Planck-Institut für Physik, München
We will present Monte Carlo studies for a partial-wave analysis (PWA) of B0 → J/ψ K+ π− at Belle and Belle II. The PWA disentangles contributions from numerous intermediate resonances, e.g. K* mesons in the Kπ subsystem. Background components are described using neural network techniques. We will discuss the search for exotic, i.e. non-qq, states, which can appear in the J/ψ π and J/ψ K subsystems, complementing recent observations by LHCb.
Keywords: Belle II; Tetraquark; Partial-Wave Analysis; Hadron Spectroscopy
