In recent years, vacuum hardware has become a major component of the cost, size and power consumption of systems design. Developments by Edwards High Vacuum International have produced low power, air cooled and clean diffusion pumps. This has presented many industrial and scientific users with exciting opportunities for cost effective vacuum solutions to complement the existing turbomolecular solutions available. This extends to split flow diffs.
