The double photo emission process is a very sensitive tool to probe electron dynamics in atoms and molecules. So far only very few experiments exist to investigate this process at solid surfaces which is due to the experimental problem of detecting two photoelectrons in coincidence with a reasonable event rate. We have developed a new type of time-of-flight spectrometer based on the No-dqCOLTRIMSNo-dq-technique known from gas targets which allows to detect both emerging electrons with a solid angle of nearly 2π up to an energy of about 50 eV. This enables us to measure all angular and energetical combinations of the two photoelectrons created by one photon at once. First measurements on the double photo emission process from a Ag(100) surface will be presented.
