We were able to measure the structure of 4He3 and 4He23He by ionizing a jet of trimer clusters with a femtosecond Ti:Sa Laser. After expanding the gas through a precooled 5µm nozzle, clusters of different mass were separated by a transmission diffraction grating. Ionization with a strong laser field led to a coulomb explosion of the trimer. In a ColTRIMS apparatus the 3d momenta of all ionized fragments were measured, giving a direct access to the structure of the trimer. Results are compared to recent theory.
