Mass Determination of Supernova Neutrinos due to Time-of-Flight Difference — •Marcel Weifels, Marta Meloni, Michael Soiron, Achim Stahl, and Christopher Wiebusch — III. Physikalisches Institut B, RWTH Aachen University, Germany

The proposed liquid scintillator-based detectors such as LENA (Low Energy Neutrino Astronomy) or JUNO (Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory) will open new possibilities for neutrino astronomy. The large target mass together with a low energy threshold will give high statistics for neutrinos from core-collapse supernovae. From the differences in arrival times of low energetic neutrinos, one can in principle extract the neutrino mass. A time-dependent analysis of the expected supernova signal is presented and the sensitivity to the neutrino mass is estimated.
