Network connection and Realtime-Visualization of BELLE II Pixel Data — •Klemens Lautenbach, David Münchow, Thomas Geßler, Wolfgang Kühn, Jens Sörn Lange, and Björn Spruck — Universität Gießen

The data aquisition of the future Belle II experiment pixel detector (PXD) is using ATCA based Compute Nodes (CN) with Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA’s, which will transmit a total data rate of 750MB/s to the Belle II event builder. We present a TCP/IP socket interface where the receiver side decodes the binary data and saves them in the ROOT based Belle II analysis framework (basf2) where the data can be visualized in ROOT histograms. Results from a test of the system with a pxd prototype in a DESY test beam (2-6 GeV positrons) will be presented.
