Development of hybrids and modules for the forward silicon strip detector of the ATLAS HL-LHC Upgrade — •Riccardo Mori1, Marc Hauser1, Victor Benitez2, Kambiz Mahboubi1, Susanne Kuehn1, Ulrich Parzefall1, Karl Jakobs1, Luise Poley3,4, Heiko Markus Lacker3, Ingo Bloch4, Elin Bergeaas Kuutmann3, Dennis Sperlich3, Laura Rehnisch3, Richard Peschke4, and Ingrid Gregor41Albert-Ludwigs Universität Freiburg, Germany — 2Centro National de Microelectronica, Barcelona, Spain — 3Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany — 4DESY, Germany

For the High-Luminosity LHC Phase 2 upgrade, the planned layouts are under study for every sector of the renewed experiments. The Petalet project deals with the development of a critical part of the ATLAS Endcap strip system, the innermost region where the smallest strip pitch is located and the region where the petal splits in two sensor columns.

In this contribution the progress and the results achieved by the Petalet community will be presented in terms of hybrids, sensors and assembly sequence. In particular, hybrid layout, functionality and electrical performance will be shown.
