Applying Legendre transformation method for Belle II tracking — •Viktor Trusov, Michael Feindt, Martin Heck, Thomas Kuhr, Pablo Goldenzweig, and Bastian Kronenbitter for the Belle II collaboration — Karlsruhe Institut of Technology, IEKP

In our work we implement a method based on the Legendre transformation for reconstructiong charged particle tracks in the central drift chamber of the Belle II experiment. Method is based on finding common tangents to drift circles of hits in the conformal space, followed by determination of track parameters. The work mainly focused on efficiency increasing on par with a reduction in time consumption as computing power is strongly restricted in experiment. The development is based upon the Belle II software environment and uses Monte-Carlo simulation for probing algorithm efficiency.
