When the antiferromagnetic zigzag phase is suppressed, field-induced quantum criticality was found around Bc 7-8T in the quantum spin liquid candidate α-RuCl3 [1]. We present high-resolution thermal expansion α, magnetostriction λ, and specific-heat (Cp) measurements on α-RuCl3. The extracted Grüneisen parameter Γ= α/Cp shows divergence as typical for quantum critical behavior. Our thermodynamic experiments further hint at the existence of a third low-temperature phase in the examined field range in general agreement with former magnetocaloric and neutron diffraction measurements [2].
