Laser guiding for ion acceleration — •Sergey Rykovanov — LMU Munich

In this paper we discuss the usage of guiding structures for laser based ion acceleration. We present the numerical study of the feasibility of using micrometer-size tapered waveguides and study the dependence of ion beam parameters on the geometry of the problem.
