BSM effects in lifetimes of B mesons — •Jakob Müller, Alexander Lenz, Maria Laura Piscopo, and Aleksey Rusov — Center for Particle Physics Siegen, Theoretische Teilchenphysik, Universität Siegen
We study the impact of potential BSM contributions to non-leptonic b quark decays on observables like τ(B+)/τ(Bd) and τ(Bs)/τ(Bd). These observables are measured with a precision of the order of several per mille. The corresponding theory predictions are obtained within the framework of the Heavy Quark Expansion.
