Halide perovskites nanocrystals (NCs) are auspicious materials for low-cost, high efficient photovoltaic and light-emitting devices. Nevertheless, the fast degradation in contact with moisture is one critical issue. Another problem constitutes the inefficient charge transfer between different layers. To counteract both problems, we employ micelles made of diblock copolymers filled with methylammonium lead bromide (MAPbBr3) NCs. With this approach, we bypass the charge transfer issue by exploiting energy transfer (ET) between CsPbBr3 nanoplatelets and the MAPbBr3 micelles. We chose micelles with different diameters to find the best balance between protection and ET efficiency. As a result, we found an increase in stability by around 56% from the smallest to the thickest shell and a transfer efficiency up to 73.6% for the smallest micelle. These findings could help improve different optoelectronic devices, such as perovskite-based solar cells or light-emitting devices.
